It’s been forever since I’ve posted, but I do want to start posting regularly again.

Anyway, I thought I would write about a type of product that is still being loved in the makeup world: liquid lipsticks.

Every brand nowadays has a liquid lipstick of their own, some of the most popular colors that you’ll find are mauves and nude. Since these two colors are so popular and seemingly dupable, I thought I’d post a huge comparison list.

I will have a post up with a formula comparison soon, but I just wanted to focus on colors for now!

Morphe Brushes 35T Palette Swatches, Review, and Photos

Morphe Brushes 35t Palette

Morphe Brushes, who relatively recently blew up on social media, offers tons of affordable brushes and more recently palettes. All of their eyeshadow palettes retail for $23 (plus $9 US shipping 😁) and have 35 shades. Their 35T palette has been very hyped up on Instagram and Youtube recently, so let’s if it lives up to the hype!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Palette Review

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Palette ($30) recently released with the ABH fall 2015 collection. It’s a beautiful palette with an array of shimmer, metallics, and matte shades. The packaging is absolutely beautiful, but let’s see if the shadows hold up!

Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 208 Review, Swatches, and Dupes

Kiko is a well known brand worldwide, especially in Europe, but they are slowly making their way into the United States and opening stores countrywide! One of their most famous products is the Water Eyeshadow in 208, dubbed the Whisper of Gilt/Heatwave dupe throughout the makeup community.

Swirl and Sparkle Brush Cleaner Review

I’m sure you’ve heard of Swirl and Sparkle if you’ve been on Instagram recently. They are a smaller indie brand that sells solid brush cleaner through Etsy. The full size containers (1oz-4oz) have the option to add scrubbing diamonds to the inside of the cap, which I totally recommend adding. They currently sell their cleaner in four scents: Toasted Marshmallow, Coconut Mandarin, Chocolate Cake, and Samoa Cookie + an unscented version, and a goat milk base and a vegan shea butter base.

Hi lovelies!

I figured I could devote my first blog post to a short getting to know me post. Many of you know me from instagram, I’m Lucy.Lipstick on there, but just call me Lucy on here! I am a teenage makeup lover/collector. I live in South Florida, but go to school in Connecticut. I use to take all my photos on an iPhone, but now that I have a camera, all the photos will be taken with my Nikon d5500.
