Swirl and Sparkle Brush Cleaner Review

I’m sure you’ve heard of Swirl and Sparkle if you’ve been on Instagram recently. They are a smaller indie brand that sells solid brush cleaner through Etsy. The full size containers (1oz-4oz) have the option to add scrubbing diamonds to the inside of the cap, which I totally recommend adding. They currently sell their cleaner in four scents: Toasted Marshmallow, Coconut Mandarin, Chocolate Cake, and Samoa Cookie + an unscented version, and a goat milk base and a vegan shea butter base.

Price:

One ounce of S&S without the scrubbing diamonds retails for $17.99 (the scrubbing diamonds are $2 extra), while one ounce of the Beautyblender Solid Cleanser retails for $16.

It is cheaper to buy one ounce of the Beautyblender Solid cleanser, but buying from S&S you get to support an indie brand and choose a delicious scent, also it seems that you get a free mini with the purchase of every large cleaner (1-4oz).

Let’s get down to the actual review shall we? 🙂

Then I would swirl the brush around in the soap until there was a nice lather and scrub the brush lightly with my fingers. After that I would rinse the brush again to get off the soap and gently dry it on a washcloth.

Final thoughts:

As you can see from the before and after pictures above, the Swirl and Sparkle brush cleaner cleaned my brushes almost to perfection. Using it was quick and easy, plus the cleaner smelled all sorts of amazing! I totally recommend this brush cleaner!
